"Oblique Connections" is a collaborative album recorded live during Covid times in Summer 2020 at Teatro Dimitri in Verscio. This was an initiative of Giacomo Meschini of The Parders, who first asked Attila, Davide and Michele to take part in a series of live streams at Mono Bar in Locarno when all activities and chances to openly meet were shut down.
It was a great experience to work all together: Attila was just getting started playing with modular synths, Davide brought his nice synth lines and created a nice ambient foundation, Joel obviously thickened up the sound with his baritone guitar's drones and loops, while Michele added some field recordings and experimental vibes to the whole package. We would describe the final result as an ambient record, although many other elements can be heard here and there.
The album was recorded in two sessions and later mixed and mastered by Attila. Giacomo took care of the artwork and screen-printing of the A5 cover.
